Jinsong Xu, Professor of Physics at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Graduated from The Ohio State University at U.S. in 2018, with a Ph.D. degree in physics (2012-2018). Then went to The Johns Hopkins University at U.S. as a postdoctoral fellow (2018-2023). In 2024, joined the Department of Physics at USTC.

Our research focuses on the spin phenomena in quantum materials, including topological magnetic materials, two-dimensional materials and their heterostructures, spin-triplet superconductors and insulating quantum materials.

We are looking for highly motivated graduate students to carry out exciting research.

Undergraduate students are welcome to join the team to learn and explore the exciting physics and various advanced techniques.
