Dr. Zheng Meng works as a professor and a doctoral supervisor in the School of Chemistry and Materials Science at the University of Science and Technology of China. He is a winner of the National Oversea Talent Program. From 2007-2011, he studied at the School of Chemistry and Biological Engineering at University of Science and Technology, Beijing, where he got his bachelor's degree. In 2011, he entered the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences and studied supramolecular self-assembly and molecular machine under the guidance of Prof. Chuan-Feng Chen. In 2016, he obtained his doctoral degree in organic chemistry. In the September of the same year, he went to the group of Prof. Katherine A. Mirica in the Department of Chemistry at Dartmouth College in the United States to carry out postdoctoral research. His research was then involved in the design and synthesis of conductive frame materials and their applications in electrically transduced chemical sensing. In November 2021, he started his independent research in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Science and Technology of China. Dr. Zheng Meng's research now focuses on the design, synthesis, and applications of conductive frame materials. He has published more than 30 peer-review papers in journals, including Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem.  Int. Ed., Chem.  Rev., Chem.  Soc. Rev., Chem.  Sci., Chem. Mater. and applied for 5 U.S. or international patents.
