Dr. Li-Feng Chen is the Recipient of the National Natural Science Fund for Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas) Program, a professor at the University of Science and Technology of China, a Joint Professor at the Hefei National Research Center for Physical Sciences at the Microscale, a Special Young Expert of Anhui Province, a Young Star Editor of Nano Research, Chinese Chemical Letters, and International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing, an Evaluation Expert of National Natural Science Foundation, Ministry of Science and Technology Key Research & Development Project, and Anhui Provincial Science & Technology Project, Academic Bridge (Academic Title, University Talent Project), and Doctoral/Master Degree Thesis Sampling & Evaluation of Education Supervision Bureau of the Ministry of Education.

Prof. Chen has published a series of academic papers in Science, Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Energy Environ. Sci., ACS Nano, and so on. He has been awarded the Nano Research Top Papers Award, JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship, and Anhui Province Graduates with Outstanding Academic Performance. He was invited to be the guest editor of Acta Physico-Chimica Sinica (IF: 10.9) for the special issue on "Carbon Materials and Electrochemical Energy Storage". He has been invited as the referee of international journals, such as Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Energy Environ. Sci., PNAS, ACS Nano, ACS Energy Lett., and  Nano Lett. et al.
