Ze Gong, currently a tenure-track professor in the Department of Modern Mechanics, University of Science and Technology of China. Ze earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2013, and he received doctoral degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Hong Kong. Ze conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at University of Pennsylvania. In May 2022, he joined the Department of Modern Mechanics, University of Science and Technology of China. Gong‘s lab focuses on mechanobiology and cell mechanics, including cell mechanotransduction, cell mechanosensing, and characterizing mechanical properties of cells/tissues.
