Jingya (Justin) Hu is a professor in the School of Earth and Space Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China. His research focuses on the natural fractionation and isotopic anomalies of rare earth elements (REEs). By developing high-precision analytical techniques for REE isotopes, his work aims to address key scientific questions related to the early evolution of the solar system, space weathering processes on the surfaces of the Moon and asteroids, the genesis of critical metal deposits, and marine geochemical cycles. To date, he has published 6 papers as first or corresponding author in leading international journals, including Science Advances and Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta (GCA), as well as 13 additional co-authored publications.
