He is mainly engaged in the experimental research of quantum optics and quantum networks, and is committed to using high-dimensional quantum information processing process to build high-dimensional quantum networks with better performance. Innovative application of new technologies such as polarization path coupling, multi-core fiber dispersion compensation and entanglement assistance in the construction of new high-dimensional quantum networks has realized the preparation of 32-dimensional entanglement, 11km high-dimensional entanglement distribution and high-dimensional quantum teleportation, significantly improving the fidelity, dimension and detection ability of high-dimensional entanglement and other key indicators, reaching the international advanced level. On this basis, combined with new methods such as subspace coding and multi-exit measurement, the advantages of high-dimensional quantum network information processing are demonstrated. It has published 27 SCI papers and 1100 academic citations from Google. In recent years, he has published 9 PRL articles as the first author (one editorial recommendation and one ESI high citation respectively), 1 Science Advanced, 1 Optica and 2 Science Bulletin. The research achievements have been positively evaluated by the Nobel laureate and IEEE academicians. The achievements were selected as the major scientific and technological progress in the field of information and communication of the China Communications Society in 2021.
