Long Jiao, born in 1992, is a professor (special appointment) and doctoral supervisor at the University of Science and Technology of China. He was awarded the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2022. He graduated from Shandong University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Physics in 2014. After that, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Hai-Long Jiang, where he subsequently worked as a postdoc and research associate professor in 2019−2022. In 2023, he became a professor (special appointment) at USTC. His research work is focused on the development of MOF-based materials for electrocatalysis.In the past five years, he has published in J. Am. Chem. Soc., PNAS, Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem., Adv. Mater.
