主要研究方向为微机电系统,微流控芯片加工与检测技术,生物医疗仪器等。主持及参与多项国家自然科学基金课题,中科院先导专项,973计划等。研制成功了国内技术指标领先的压电薄膜变形镜,所提出的双驱动模式实现了在不需要正负电压的情况下双向驱动,在天文高分辨率成像领域有重要应用价值。首次提出的液滴式数字移液器,将当前移液精度提高三个数量级以上。主持研制的新型压电冲击打印平台,可高通量产生皮升体积的微量液滴,在抗生素检测、药物筛选等生化分析领域拥有广阔应用前景。系列成果已多篇刊发在著名期刊Lab on a chip封面。在Applied optics, Lab on a chip, Biomicrofluidics, 光学精密工程等专业杂志发表SCIEI论文四十余篇,申请专利十余项。
