Profile

Dr. Yue Lin is presently a professor at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He has been recognized as a highly cited researcher in Chemistry by Clarivate Analytics from 2020 to 2022, and he is also a member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences since 2020. To date, he has authored more than 50 papers as both the first and corresponding author in prestigious journals such as Science, Sci. Adv., Nat. Commun., Matter, Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., et al. These papers have garnered over 10,000 citations, and his H-index exceeds 70. He earned his B.S. degree in Condensed Matter Physics from Lanzhou University (LZU) in 2007 and his Ph.D. from USTC in 2012. In 2021, he received the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars from NSFC. His primary research interests revolve around the development of transmission electron microscopy techniques, particularly in the field of spherical-aberration-corrected and in-situ transmission electron microscopy analysis of energy materials. His research aims to elucidate the growth mechanisms and energy storage mechanisms of new energy materials, as well as understand the relationship between material microstructure and properties.

PhD and Postdoc positions opening for candidate with a general background in Chemistry, Materials Science and Physics background.
