I was born in December 1987 in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. I am a Specially-Appointed Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at School of Earth and Space Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). I obtained my Bachelor's degree from USTC in 2009 and my Doctoral degree from USTC in 2014. I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at USTC from 2014 to 2015, and as an Assistant Researcher at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 2015 to 2021. In 2021, I returned to USTC to work. I study space plasma physics (e.g., magnetic reconnection and related kinetic structures and processes) using computer simulations, spacecraft data analyses, and laboratory plasma experiments.
