Shi Yunli, Chair Professor of the Department of History of Science and Technology and Archeology of Science and Technology, and Executive Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China. His main research fields include the history of astronomy and physics, and the transcultural transmission of science and technology. His recent interests of research are astronomy and physics in the European scientific revolution, overseas expansion and the rise of modern science in Europe, Chinese astronomy and physics in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, scientific exchanges between China and the West in the 17th and 18th centuries, and ancient Chinese books in science and technology. He can supervise master's and Ph. D. students in these fields and directions.
