ProfileChair professor, the director of the Institute of Science and Technology in Deep Space (https://planet.ustc.edu.cn) and the deputy director of the National Key Laboratory of Deep Space Exploration. His research involves solar physics, space physics, planetary physics and space instruments for magnetic fields and plasmas. He has made systematic and original contributions to the forming, propagation and geoeffectiveness of solar eruptions and space environments of planets (https://www.webofscience.com/wos/author/record/A-8968-2012). The magnetometer onboard China's first Mars mission Tianwen-1 was build by his team.
