Yang Xinxing, PhD.
He obtained his Bachelor's degree from the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University.
Later, he conducted research on single-molecule fluorescence and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy in the research group of Professor Zhao Xinsheng in the Department of Chemical Biology, mainly focusing on the thermodynamic and kinetic mechanisms of protein-nucleic acid interactions, and obtained his Doctor's degree.
After that, he engaged in the exploration of biophysical mechanisms of bacterial division in Prof. Jie Xiao's group at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine using single-molecule tracking and super-resolution microscopy imaging technology.
In 2021, he joined the Division of Life Sciences and Medicine of the University of Science and Technology of China. Currently, his research is concentrated on studying the cell biological mechanisms of prokaryotes through new methods such as super-resolution imaging.
