Postdoctoral Fellowships in the Department of Environmental Science and Technology at the University of Science and Technology of China
The Department of Environmental Science and Technology at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) invites applications for a number of postdoctoral positions. USTC is among the few top-ranked universities in China and is committed to provide strong support for postdoctoral researchers. Successful applicants are expected to specialize in one of the following domains: environmental engineering/science, water/wastewater treatment, resource recovery, advanced oxidation processes, electrochemical wastewater treatment, materials synthesis and characterization, chemical engineering.
The annual salary of the position is from 200,000 to 250,000 CNY, depending on qualifications. Exceptional candidates will be also considered for the Distinguished University Fellowship, which carries a salary top-up of 50,000 to 150,000 CNY per year. Generous international travel funding will be provided, and the postdoc is also entitled to various university benefits, including social and health insurances, housing and childcare subsidies, etc. (With the housing subsidies, it costs less than 1000 CNY/month to rent a 1-bedroom apartment just outside the campus.) Applicants of all nationalities are encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. degree in astronomy, physics or a related discipline is a prerequisite for commencing the position. Successful applicants will work with one or more of the faculty members listed on the above website. The initial appointment is two years, but may be extended to up to 6 additional years (rank promoted to non-tenure Research Associate Professor) contingent on performance and funding. Tenure promotion to associate or full professor is possible for candidates with outstanding performance.

中科大张常勇团队招聘墨子津贴博后2名：环境/材料/化学方向
因科研工作需要，中国科大环境科学与工程系张常勇课题组拟招聘2名校墨子杰出特资津贴项目博士后，从事环境电化学、水质净化与资源回收、环境功能材料、环境界面过程微观解析等相关的研究工作。
一、岗位需求
（1）申请者应具有或即将取得博士学位和学历；
（2）专业背景包括（但不限于）：环境科学与工程、材料科学与工程、化学、生物等；
（3）善于学习钻研，工作积极主动、求真务实，有良好的团队合作精神，具有良好的科学道德和严谨的学术态度；
（4）符合中国科学技术大学有关博士后管理的规定。
二、岗位待遇
（1）科研条件：提供舒适温馨的工作环境和优质的科研硬件条件，并可利用校内的一系列高水平研究平台（如国家同步辐射实验室、合肥微尺度国家实验室、中科院城市污染物转化重点实验室等）迅速开展工作，取得学术成果。
（2）薪酬待遇：博士后“墨子”一等资助，年薪36万起，博士后“墨子”二等资助，年薪26万起，基本薪酬年薪20万起。
（3）子女入学：未成年子女按年龄进入拥有安徽顶尖教育质量的科大附属幼儿园、附小、附中就读。
（4）住房保障：学校提供过渡住房；若在校外租房，学校可提供租房补贴。
（5）其他条件：鼓励并协助申请国家和地方科研项目的支持（如“博新计划”、博士后科学基金、国家自然科学基金等）；充分尊重并考虑博后的职业发展，合同到期后根据个人意愿，可续聘为特任副研究员，或者申请副教授及以上职位，或者积极推荐到海内外其他单位工作（中国科大环境系已有诸多成功案例）。
三．团队简介
张常勇：中科院百人计划入选者，中国科大环境科学与工程系研究员，博士生导师，分别在新南威尔士大学、清华大学和哈尔滨工业大学获得博士（2019）、硕士（2015）和学士（2012）学位，主要研究方向为电化学水处理、水质净化与资源回收、环境功能材料等。已在环境工程领域发表sci论文50余篇，其中第一作者论文近20篇，包括环境类权威期刊论文es&t (lett.) 6篇，water research 6篇，总引用2800余次，h指数29。主持和参与多项纵向和横向项目，荣获中国政府优秀留学生奖学金、新南威尔士大学优秀博士论文、water research期刊杰出审稿人等奖励。担任青岛国际水大会专家委员会委员、frontiers in environmental science 编辑、chinese chemical letters青年编委、imeta青年编委、es&t等sci期刊审稿人、青岛国际水大会专家委员会委员、“环境人environmentor”微信公众号主编、美国化学学会会员、国际电化学学会会员和中国环境科学学会会员等。
