I received my B.Eng. degree in Electronic Science and Technology from Zhejiang University in 2016 and my Ph.D. degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering (ECE) from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2021. I worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow first and then a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of ECE at HKUST, where my last position is a Research Assistant Professor under the scheme of VPRDO. I have joined the School of Microelectronics at University of Science and Technology of China as a Designated Professor in September 2023.
My research interests fall in the fields of semiconductor theory, device physics, device-circuit interplay, and device/IC manufacturing. Particularly, my current focus is on wide-bandgap semiconductor (GaN and SiC) electronics for high-frequency RF/microwave and high-efficiency power conversion applications.
I am teaching an undergraduate course "Linear Electronic Circuits" and a postgraduate course "Power Semiconductor Electron Devices" at USTC. I taught an undergraduate course “Integrated Circuit Fabrication Technology” at HKUST.
I was supported by the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) during my PhD journey and the national scholarship for consecutive three years during my undergraduate study. I am the winner of the School of Engineering (SENG) PhD Research Excellence Award 2021-22. My research works were published in journals and conferences including Nature Electronics, IEEE Electron Device Letters, Advanced Materials, Fundamental Research, Applied Physics Letters, IEDM, ISPSD, etc.. My work on the GaN CMOS IC was selected as a finalist of “Top 10 Research Progress on Semiconductors in China for 2021.”
