Investigation of the flow rate optimization of the Zn/LiFePO4 aqueous flow battery

This study investigates the cycling performance of a Zn/LiFePO4 flow battery under different electrolyte flow rates. The optimal flow rate was determined based on the capacity retention after cycling. Additionally, the enhancement effect of flow was explained through simulations. Two hypotheses were proposed to explain the performance degradation at high flow rates. This work provides valuable guidance for optimizing the flow rate in flow batteries.
