Dr. Xu earned his B.S. degree in applied physics from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2012, and Ph.D. degree in physics from The Ohio State University at U.S. in 2018. Then he went to The Johns Hopkins University at U.S. as a postdoctoral fellow. In 2024, Dr. Xu joined the Department of Physics at USTC. His research focuses on the spin phenomena in quantum materials, including unconventional magnetic materials, two-dimensional materials and their heterostructures, and spin-triplet superconductors.
