Application of bionic electrolytes and aqueous secondary batteries
Bionic electrolytes optimize the stability and performance of aqueous secondary batteries by simulating the efficient ion transport and environmental adaptation mechanisms in biological systems. For example, the confined solvation strategy inspired by aquaporins can increase the migration rate of zinc ions or protons and reduce interfacial side reactions by constructing nano-confined channels or regulating the hydrogen bond network of water molecules. In addition, combined with bioadhesion and self-healing properties, gel electrolytes with dynamic self-healing capabilities are designed to increase the cycle life of the battery. Bionic electrolytes can not only effectively alleviate problems such as water decomposition and hydrogen evolution, but can also be expanded to high-safety, flexible wearable energy storage devices, providing new ideas for the next generation of environmentally friendly, highly stable aqueous secondary batteries.
