Welcome to Chen Wenxiang's website! I am an assistant professor at the School of Physics, University of Science and Technology of China. I work in interdisciplinary research ares
on electron microscopy and redox-active materials. If you are interested in learning some transmission electron microscopy techniques and using these data-drive methods to learn
the working mechanisms of energy storage materials, our group could be a right place.
Before joining the University of Science and Technology of China, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois
Urbana-Champaign. My main focus was on using advanced electron microscopy to study the phase transition process in electrode materials of rechargeable ion batteries and its
impact on material properties. In terms of educational background, I obtained my PhD in Electrical and Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, working on colloidal
nanocrystal-based optical metasurfaces. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
