Profile

Jun Liu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in mathematics from Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2006, the M.S. degree in mathematics from Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Xidian University, Xi'an, China, in 2012.

      

From July 2012 to December 2012, he was a Post-doctoral Research Associate with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Duke University, Durham, NC, USA. From January 2013 to September 2014, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ, USA. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering and Information Science, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China. His research interests include statistical signal processing, image processing, and machine learning.

      

Dr. Liu is a Member of the Sensor Array and Multichannel (SAM) Technical Committee, IEEE Signal Processing Society. He is the co-author of two books "Advances in Adaptive Radar Detection and Range Estimation" (Springer, 2022) and "Adaptive Detection of Multichannel Signals Exploiting Persymmetry" (CRC Press, 2023). He was the recipient of the Best Paper Award from the IEEE WCSP 2021. He is currently an Associate Editor for the IEEE Signal Processing Letters, and a Member of the Editorial Board of the Signal Processing (Elsevier).
