ProfileGuorui Wang is currently a Professor (Special appointment) at the Department of Modern Mechanics, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from USTC in 2012 and 2017, respectively. From 2018 to 2022, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST), China and the University of Toronto, Canada. He has long been committed to mechanical studies on micro/nano materials and structures as well as their interfaces. His research interests include experimental solid mechanics, micro/nano mechanics, and mechanics of nanocomposites. Currently, he has 2 Chinese patents granted, publishes 1 book and a series of research articles on some top scientific journals, such as Phys. Rev. Lett., ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces, Carbon, Compos. Sci. Technol., Compos. J. Mech. Phys. Solids etc., which receive more than 1200 citations. Personal Information
