Zhanru Zhou, female, Associate Researcher. She received her Ph.D. in Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2018, where she was also awarded the National Scholarship. In the same year, she joined the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) as a postdoctoral researcher and has served as an Associate Researcher at USTC since 2021. Her research has long been focused on multiphase flow enhanced heat transfer, active thermal protection of aerospace vehicles and divertor cooling. She has led or participated in several projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Strategic Priority Research Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the National Magnetic Confinement Fusion Energy Research Program, the CAS Large-Scale Scientific Facility Program, as well as defense-related projects. In the past five years, she has published multiple papers in high-impact SCI journals such as Applied Thermal Engineering and Physics of Fluids.
