ProfileXiaodi Zhu is the associate professor and master's supervisor at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). She got her Ph.D in Nuclear Science and Technology from USTC in 2018. Recent years, she has been focused on the establishment of oprando/in-situ characterization techniques and experimental methods based on large scientific facilities such as synchrotron radiation and infrared free electron lasers, as well as their application in the field of energy chemistry. To date, she has developed and applied various characterization technologies, including in-situ IR spectroscopy and synchronous radiation X-ray absorption spectroscopy, etc, to reveal the structure-performance relationship and reaction mechanism of typical photo(electro)catalytic materials for solar water splitting, CO2 conversion, fuel cells, etc. Since Year 2019, she has been responsible for five research projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, USTC Research Funds of the Double First-Class Initiative and talent start-up funding of USTC. Besides, she also participated in one National Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and one National Major Scientific Research Instrument and Equipment Development Project of NSFC. Up to now, she has published more than 30 papers in prestigious journals (Adv. Mater., Adv. Sci., ACS Catal., Appl. Catal. B, J Energy. Chem., etc.), 1 invited book chapter, and 6 patents.
