Guorui Cai (Google Scholar: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=Rt2xU0IAAAAJ&hl=en&authuser=1&oi=ao) received his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Hai-Long Jiang. He subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Zheng Chen's group at UC San Diego until 2022. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Chunsheng Wang's group at the University of Maryland until 2024. He current is a professor at USTC. His research focused on the design of hierarchically porous MOF-based materials for battery chemistry, electrolyte chemistry, and functional separators for rechargeable batteries at extreme temperatures.
