Zhuoxia Shao is an associate professor at Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at the Microscale, University of Science and Technology of China. He graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China with a PhD in 2020. Shao has been conducted his research at Kyoto University in Japan as a visiting scholar. His research interests are particle accelerator technology and power electronics technology. An emergent interest is in the electron accelerator-driven strong-field THz and far-infrared laser sources for quantum precision measurement. Dr. Shao has extensive engineering experience. As a key member, he participated in the engineering design and construction of large scientific facilities such as synchrotron radiation light source (HALF) and free electron laser facility (IR/THz FEL). His papers and patents have been praised in international conferences (IPAC) and workshops.
