Yang Xun is now the Professor and Doctoral advisor in Department of Electronic Engineering and Information Science (EEIS), University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China. He was a research fellow in NExT++, School of Computing, National University of Singapore from 2018 to 2021. He received his Ph.D from Hefei University of Technology in 2017. His mainly focused on the study of multimedia information processing in the past few years.
His main research interests include cross-media analysis and reasoning, multimedia content understanding, visual media association modeling, etc. He has published more than 20 high-quality papers on China Computer Federation A star conferences or IEEE/ACM Transaction journals. He was invited to serve as the Area Chair of ACM Multimedia 2022, the SPC of AAAI 2022, the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Big Data and the Guest Editor of ACM TOMM and IEEE TCSVT.
