Addressing Transport Issues in Non‑Aqueous Li–air Batteries to Achieving High Electrochemical Performance

This review points out the factors hindering species transport in lithium-air batteries, systematically introduces the transport processes of Li ions and oxygen, the generation and distribution of intermediates and products; summarizes the transport processes of various air components in lithium-air batteries and their effects on the electrochemical performance; proposes strategies to enhance the species transport, accelerate the reaction rate and stabilize the operation, and provides reliable ideas for realizing lithium-air batteries with high electrochemical performance.
