A Quantitative Understanding of Electron and Mass Transport Coupling in Lithium–Oxygen Batteries

       This work designs an air electrode with highly consistent and controllable channel units to quantitatively understand the electron and mass transport coupling in lithium-oxygen batteries. A combination of experiments and numerical simulations reveals the critical role of the transport channel size on the control mechanism of lithium-oxygen batteries, which is useful for guiding the design of high-performance electrodes.
