Design of Thick Electrodes with Vertical Channels for Aqueous Batteries: Experimental and Numerical Analysis
In this work, a high-loading positive electrode with vertical array channels is constructed to investigate its effect on the rate performance of zinc-metal batteries. The effect of vertical channels on the intra-electrode transport process is also revealed by numerical simulation. In addition, the variation of battery capacity under different vertical channel design parameters was investigated based on this model, which provides guidance for the optimization of channel structure. This work is of great significance for the design of thick electrodes for high-performance aqueous batteries.
