Jingxiang Low, born in Johor, Malaysia, obtained his B.Eng. (Hons) from Multimedia University, Malaysia and his Master/PhD degree in materials science from Wuhan University of Technology, China. He is currently working at the University of Science and Technology of China as Associate Professor (research). He is also serving as Foreign Member of Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan, Member of American Chemical Society, Member of Royal Society of Chemistry, Committee Member of Laser Technology Committee of Anhui Optical Society. He has also been invited by Monash University (Sunway Campus) as visiting Assoc. Prof. and Politecnico di Torino (Tashkent Campus) as co-supervisor of PhD students. He is also serving as principal investigators for National Key R&D Program of China (重点研发计划项目负责人) and Research Fund for International Excellent Young Scientists (外国优青). His current research interests include the developments of in situ/operando methodology toward the liquid/solid interfacial study, synthesis of metallic nanocrystals and semiconductor nanomaterials for solar energy conversion. He has published more than 70 scientific papers in Chem. Rev., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem., Chem. Commun., J. Phys. Chem. Lett., etc., which were cited more than 20,000 times (h-index: 43). 22 of his published papers are SCI highly cited papers. Three of his works were selected as "China's 100 most influential international academic papers". He has awarded as IUPAC-NHU International Young Chemist, Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher, Elsevier Most Cited Chinese Researcher, Nanoscale Emerging investigator, CAS President's International Fellow, and listed as Standford University/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists Worldwide in 2019–2021. He has also granted 2 Chinese invention patents and an accumulated research fund of 3M RMB. He is currently serving as Youth Editor for journal Advanced Powder Materials, Chinese Chemical Letters and Acta Physico-Chimica Sinica. His achievement in solar energy conversion for carbon-neutrality has been reported by China Daily (International), The Star, Sinchew Daily, etc.
