Antimony selenosulfide solar cells
Antimony selenosulfide (Sb2(S,Se)3) is a kind of semiconducting material with earth abundant element storage, good long-term stability, and tunable band gap in 1.1-1.8 eV. In principle, it is an excellent light absorption material and can deliver maximum efficiency of >30% according to the Shockley-Queisser limit. The major challenge in this kind of device is to boost the efficiency to a level comparable to the established solar technologies such as thin film solar cells and perovskite solar cells. In this research, we focus on the development of synthetic methodologies toward Sb2(S,Se)3, device fabrication and efficiency improvement.
