This course focuses on the introduction of new energy systems including globle energy information and policies, biomass energy, solar energy, hydrogen energy, batteries, etc. Especially, the conversion and utilization of biomass, the new solar cells and their basic principles, photocatalysis, electrochemistry (electrocatalysis, lithium-ion batteries, etc.), fuel cells (H₂ / O₂ Principles of fuel cells and related catalysts) and their latest development and utilization, will be introduced. The course will combine lectures, discussion and presentation.
