超导量子器件材料、约瑟夫森结工艺与退相干物理机制研究;
串扰、泄露、准粒子噪声及关联误差物理研究;
高保真量子逻辑门、动态耦合调控与可扩展量子操控方法;
面向容错量子计算的量子纠错实验、编码解码与逻辑量子操作;
量子模拟、量子机器学习和量子信息处理实验。
超导量子电路以约瑟夫森结的非线性电感为核心,将微纳加工的人造电路构造成可量子化、可设计、可操控的“人工原子”,是当前实现通用量子计算最具竞争力的物理体系之一。在这一体系中,量子比特、可调耦合器、微波谐振腔和传输线共同构成了片上量子电动力学系统。通过外加微波场和磁通偏置,可以在纳秒量级精确调控量子态的相干演化、能级结构、相互作用强度以及多体哈密顿量,从而为研究光与物质相互作用、开放量子系统动力学、多体量子物理以及量子纠错等基本物理问题提供了高度可控的平台。近年来,超导量子计算在单量子比特、两量子比特门、量子纠错原型实验和中等规模量子处理器方面取得快速发展,但如何在保持高相干性和高保真操控的同时进一步扩展量子比特数目、抑制串扰与泄露、实现可容错的逻辑量子操作,仍然是该领域的核心科学问题。
课题组长期面向可扩展超导量子计算开展研究,致力于理解和调控人工量子体系中的相干性、耦合与多体动力学。我们从约瑟夫森结、超导材料与芯片结构中的微观耗散机制出发,研究量子噪声和退相干的物理起源;通过可调耦合与多比特哈密顿量工程,探索量子态传输、远程纠缠生成和可编程量子动力学;并进一步将这些物理机制应用于量子信息处理、量子算法演示和量子纠错实验,为构建大规模容错超导量子处理器奠定基础。
未来研究将进一步以实现可扩展、可容错的超导量子计算为目标,依托现有的成熟微纳加工平台、高性能低温和室温量子测控系统,重点开展以下方向的研究:
