Jin Hongchang, Associate Professor at the School of Chemistry and Materials Science, University of Science and Technology of China, specializes in the structural design of anode materials for low-temperature fast-charging lithium-ion batteries and the study of their lithiation kinetics. In the past five years, he has published 12 SCI papers as the first author and co-corresponding author in prestigious journals such as Science, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Small, and ACS Applied Mater. Inter. He has filed 9 invention patents and serves as the principal investigator for projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He was awarded the First Prize in Natural Science of Anhui Province in 2022 (second contributor) and received the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021. His research achievements were selected as one of the "Top Ten Scientific and Technological Advances of Chinese Universities" by the Ministry of Education in 2020.
