We are interested in multidisciplinary research on frontier issues in polymer materials, supramolecular chemistry, and soft matter science, aiming to construct new types of new functional materials through molecular design, chemical synthesis, polymerization, and (super)molecular self-assembly. We are focusing on unraveling the structure-activity relationship and law between the changes of microscopic molecular structure and the macroscopic properties of materials, and in this way to develop dynamic and recyclable hydrogel materials with biomimetic deformation and responsive actuation, and explore their applications in soft robotics, biomedicine engineering and other fields.
