Development of photoactive and electroactive MOFs, COFs, and related materials for environmental and energy-related applications. Interested in mechanistic studies on charge carrier dynamics, reaction kinetics, charge transport phenomenon, and related processes.

Understanding of the (Photo)electrode-electrolyte interfaces, specifically the mechanistic role of surface states, cocatalysts, overlayers on interfacial charge transfer and recombination processes.

Development of functional devices for small molecule conversion and separation, pollutants sensing and removal, etc.
