Profile特任教授,博士生导师,曾任大气科学学科点负责人。主要研究兴趣是雷电电荷传输的物理过程、致灾机理及其在中高层和近地空间环境中的瞬态电磁效应,以及闪电和雷暴对地球系统碳平衡和临近空间安全的影响。已发表SCI(E)学术论文120余篇,其中第一(或通讯)作者论文50余篇。研究成果发表在地学高水平期刊 (Nature Geoscience, Nature Communications, Geophys. Res. Lett.和J. Geopys. Res.等) 上,两次被美国地球物理协会会刊 (EOS) 选为研究亮点,并多次被媒体报道。总引用次数近2600次,其中关于负极性强地闪形态学的工作受到国际闪电研究权威学者Martin A. Uman的高度评价。多次受邀在国际学术会议和研讨会上做口头报告,担任美国地球物理年会(AGU)分会场组织者。被多次邀请为NASA和欧洲科学研究组织评审基金。目前担任中国气象学会雷电委员会委员,“青年地学论坛”第三届理事会理事,学术期刊Atmospheric and Oceanic Science Letters (AOSL)、《气象科学》、《地球与行星物理论评》编委,并于2023年初起任美国地球物理联合会 (AGU) 综合性地学期刊Earth and Space Science副编辑 (Associate Editor)和《科学通报》(Science Bulletin) 地球与环境科学特邀编委。 Professor, mentor for Ph.D. students, with main research interest in physical processes involved in the lightning charge transfer and its transient electromagnetic effects in the near-Earth space, as well as the application of lightning detection to meteorology. Published over 100 papers on peer-reviewed journals. Since early 2023, serve as Associate Editor for the comprehensive geoscientific journal Earth and Space Science (ESS) of American Geophysical Union (AGU) and invited member of editorial board for the earth and environmental science section of Science Bulletin.
