Profile

Prof. Jian-Xin Lu is a Chair Professor at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He received the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2005, and was awarded the Zhou Peiyuan Physics Prize by the Chinese Physical Society in 2025. He serves as the Director of the Interdisciplinary Center for Theoretical Study at USTC, and the Director of the Peng Huanwu Center for Fundamental Theory (Hefei), supported by the Special Fund of Theoretical Physics of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.  Prof. Lu’ s research interest lies in string/M-theory and the related topics.
