    Profile

    Honghui Shang is a professor at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). She received her B.S. (2006) and Ph.D. (2011) degrees from USTC and did her postdoctoral research at Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society from 2011 to 2018. Subsequently, she became an associate professor at the Institute of Computational Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2018 to 2023. Her main research interest is developing the physical algorithm and numerical methods for the scientific calculations (quantum algorithms, artificial intelligence, first-principles methods) as well as accelerating these applications in the highperformance computers
