The group welcomes outstanding undergraduates to join and develop their research interests and directions.




Each year, we recruit two to four MSc, PhD and MSc students in materials chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry and materials science. Welcome students who are interested in materials chemistry and energy materials to join our group.

Professor Chengwei Wang’s research group regularly has openings for postdoctoral fellows/specially appointed associate researchers. The basic salary starts from 20W (http://employment.ustc.edu.cn/cn/indexnews.aspx?sign=635487875427187007#hx),  and the platform support is not capped.

Research directions:

l   Development and application of high-performance all-solid-state lithium metal batteries: interface optimization of solid-state batteries, preparation of electrolyte materials, preparation and integration of full batteries.

l   Development and application of soft matter-based (polymer, hydrogel, cellulose, etc.) ionic conductors.

The candidates:

l   Doctoral dissertation defense passed, under the age of 35.

l   Possessing good professional qualities, including strong English reading/writing ability and experimental operation ability.

l   Proactive in work, with a sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit, strong interest in scientific research, self-motivated and innovative.

l   Published academic papers as the first author in important international academic journals.

Applicants with background in lithium battery, polymer, hydrogel, electrocatalysis, ceramic synthesis are preferred.
