Dr. Dongdong Wang is a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), and a recipient of the National High-Level Young Talent Program of China. His research focuses on nanozymes, nanomedicine, biomimetic nanomaterials, and catalytic therapeutics for disease diagnosis and treatment.

To date, he has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers in leading international journals, including Nature Reviews Chemistry, Accounts of Chemical Research, Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Advanced Materials, Chem, ACS Nano, Advanced Science, Small, Biomaterials, and Chemistry of Materials. Several of his publications have been recognized as ESI Highly Cited Papers and have received extensive media coverage from outlets such as Asian Scientist Magazine and ScienceNet. He was selected as a JMCB Emerging Investigator 2025.

Prof. Wang has received several prestigious honors and awards, including the Baosteel Excellent Student Scholarship, National Graduate Scholarship, Suzhou Yucai Scholarship, and the Anhui Outstanding Graduate Award. He also serves as an invited reviewer for numerous high-impact international journals, including Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS), ACS Nano, Biomaterials, and Small.

His current research aims to develop next-generation catalytic nanomedicines through the integration of materials science, chemistry, and biomedicine, with particular emphasis on single-atom nanozymes, bioinspired nanomaterials, and tumor microenvironment-responsive therapeutic systems for precision cancer therapy and immunotherapy.
