I am a Research Scientist in the Department of Plasma Physics and Fusion Engineering at the University of Science & Technology of China (USTC). Before joining USTC, I worked as a Director's Postdoc Fellow (2020.8-2022.10) and a Scientist II (2022.10-2025.4) at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
My research spans a broad range of topics in magnetic confinement fusion (MCF) and fundamental plasma physics, including tokamak edge plasmas, disruption dynamics and mitigation, divertor physics, and related kinetic processes in high-temperature plasmas. Through a combination of theoretical analysis and large-scale numerical simulations, I have published over 20 first-author papers and more than 30 peer-reviewed articles in total, including publications in Physical Review Letters, Nuclear Fusion, and Physics of Plasmas, among others.
Motivated students and postdoctoral researchers interested in MCF and plasma physics are strongly encouraged to apply.
