I am an Associate Research Fellow at University of Science and Technology of China. My research focuses on experiments in fluid mechanics using high-speed imaging. The dynamics of drops and interfacial flows are of particular interest. It includes splashing, coalescence, cavity collapse and formation of jets. I am keen on using high-speed cameras, as well as CFD, to investigate various new flow phenomena at extreme spatio-temporal resolutions. My work has been published in top-tier Fluid Mechanics journals including Phys. Rev. Lett., J. Fluid Mech., Phys. Fluids etc.
Before joining USTC, I was an Assistant Professor at Chang'an University, China. I received my Ph.D. at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in 2020. My Ph.D. advisor is Professor Sigurdur T. Thoroddsen.
