Dr. Songde Liu is an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering Science, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He received his B.S. degree in Measurement & Control Technology and Instrument and his Ph.D. in Instrument Science and Technology, both from USTC, in 2014 and 2020, respectively. His research focuses on high-performance photoacoustic tomography, functional ultrasound, ultrasound localization microscopy, and their interdisciplinary preclinical and translational applications. Dr. Liu has authored over 15 peer-reviewed articles and has been the principal investigator of multiple competitive research grants. He is an active reviewer for leading journals in optics, imaging, and biomedical engineering, and a committed member of the SPIE and Optica communities.
