A paper with a topic on the synthesis of palladium nanocrystals with high-index facets has been accepted for publication in J. Mater. Chem.! With the method that we have developed, high-index surface of palladium nanocrystals can be formed without the need of using long-chain capping agents whose existence on nanocrystal surface may have significant impact on the chemical activities of nanocrystals in further applications. The first paper from Xiong research group (with a topic on the size control of metallic nanocrystals) has been accepted for publication in Small! In this method, the shapes of metallic nanocrystals can be kept consistent when tuning the particle size, allowing investigating the size-dependent plamsonic and catalytic properties free of the influence from other factors such as shape effect.
