Dr. Man Li is a tenure-track Professor in the Department of Thermal Science and Energy Engineering, School of Engineering Science, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He has been selected for the National Young Talent Program and the CAS "Hundred Talents Program" (Pioneer Action Initiative). His research interests include micro/nanoscale heat transfer measurements and mechanism analysis, development of extreme thermal-conductivity materials and devices, chip thermal management, and dynamic thermal regulation. He has published more than 40 SCI-indexed papers, including over 20 research articles as first or corresponding author in international journals such as Science, Nature Physics, Nature Electronics, Advanced Materials, and Advanced Science, with more than 2,900 citations and an H-index of 26 (Google Scholar). His work has been featured over 100 times by more than 26 leading international media outlets including Scientific American, and his work on dynamic thermal regulation was selected by IEEE Spectrum as one of the Top 10 Semiconductor Stories of 2023. He received the 2023 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad. He currently leads projects funded by the CAS Hundred Talents Program, the USTC Innovation Team Cultivation Program, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
